About Peter
I’ve been in practice since 2016. In those nine years I’ve been using acupuncture, herbs, diet, mindfulness, exercise and lifestyle advice to help find clients find happiness in body and mind.
I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Health Science and Chinese Medicine in 2015. I’m a registered practitioner with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). I’ve trained under renowned practitioners such as Graham Jellett, Paul McLeod in classical herbal medicine and Tung acupuncture. I’ve recently practiced mindfulness and meditation under Ajahn Puttar and Ajahn Joti in Wat Sopharam, and have been mentored by Chris Bale.
What are you struggling with?
I focus on treating the whole body and mind, so whatever you are experiencing: whether its digestive issues, stress, fertility & women’s health, muscle pain, mental health issues, migraines or autoimmune disease, I can find a way of treating that is suited for your condition.
What’s the plan?
Depending on the nature of the problem you are experiencing-whether it’s only been a few weeks or if it’s a long-term issue I’ll work with you to find the right treatment plan for you.
Because I focus on treating holistically and to fix the underlying cause of your disease or pain, we can achieve better and long lasting results so you can rediscover the joy of living in a happy, healthy body.
What does a session with Peter look like?
First we’ll have a chat about what aspect of health you’re struggling with and ask some questions. We’ll get to the cause of what’s bothering you, check your pulse and tongue, palpate your abdomen to help diagnose and assess the state your whole body health.
Once we know the issue we’ll give you a treatment designed to address it. You are in control of the experience, and we’'ll check in with you to ensure you understand what’s happening, and that you consent to it. We might need access to your feet, hands and tummy but usually clothing doesn’t need to be removed. Just wear something loose and comfortable. Peter will feel for acupuncture points, and apply small and thin needles to the required areas. Then you’re given usually 25-35 minutes to relax whilst Peter makes up some herbs for you in the dispensary (if required).
A plan of treatment, whether it’s just a few sessions or longer is essential to ensure your symptoms are resolved and don’t return. Peter will guide you here and give you herbs, diet, lifestyle advice, mindfulness strategies as required.
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Wadawarrung country on whose land I live, heal and write.
